Selecting a Venue Overview

There are 3 ways to select a venue on Merri: select a venue already in our catalog, request a new venue, or build your own venue.

1. Select a venue already in our catalog

After you create a new event in the Events Dashboard, you will be taken to the Venue page which will show you all of Merri's existing venues in the chosen event location.

You can use the search bar at the top left to search for a specific venue. 

Once you find your venue, you will click on it and press "Select Venue." Then, you're ready to move on to the Vision Board to choose furniture and décor for your event!

Pro Tip 😊: If you're ever not sure about the location of your event and/or just want to see ALL venues in our catalog, you can always put "Not Sure Yet" as the Event Location!

2. Request a new venue

If you are unable to find your venue in our existing catalog, don't worry! We would be happy to build it for you.

To request a new venue, simply click on the "Don't see your venue?" banner at the top of the Venue page to fill out our venue request form (or use this link to access the same form).

Simply fill out the form and we'll be in touch with any questions. Once we have all the information we need, the venue model will go live within 7 business days.

3. Build your own venue

If you only require a basic room to create a layout or an outdoor space for a tent, you have the option to build it yourself and start designing right away.

Simply click on "Custom Space," which is always the first option on the Venue page, and you will be taken through the steps to create your venue.
