After you select your venue and choose your initial set of furniture and décor in your Vision Board, you are ready to move on to creating your event in 3D!
How do I enter 3D?
- From your Vision Board, to enter your 3D design you can select "Design" or "View Your Space."
- Then, you will select "3D Design" from the design page.
Pro Tip 😊: You can access 2D when loaded into 3D!
How do I navigate in 3D?
You can think of 3D as an interactive space to move around in. The right side of your screen is where you will find all of your views and control options.
- At the top right, you are able to toggle between 3D, Top Down, and 2D views.
- At the bottom right are your controls for moving around the space. You will see an option to center yourself in the design, move forward, back, left, and right, rotate, and zoom in and out.
Pro Tip 😊: Top Down & 2D mode are perfect for building layouts and precise positioning. Toggle to 3D for making your design decisions!
How do I design my event in 3D?
To the left of your screen, you will see we are directing you to click into your Design Tab. This is where you will spend most of your time designing your event and where you will find our entire suite of design tools.
In your Design Tab, you will find icons for the most commonly used items in Merri. Any item that doesn't have its own category will be found in "Add Items." Click here for the article on how to add items to your design.
