If Merri is taking a while to load, or you are experiencing another type of issue, there are few things we recommend checking on your device to improve performance.
How long should it take to load my event in 2D or 3D?
- Loading your 3D room will take between 10 - 60 seconds, depending on your venue and the number of items you've added to your Vision Board
- If you are loading into a room for the first time, allow up to 60 seconds.
- Remember not to click away from the loading screen, or loading will pause!
Additional Troubleshooting:
- Google Chrome is the optimal web browser to use for Merri
- Close out of any extra tabs in your browser
- Close other heavy programs like Photoshop or PowerPoint
- Plug your computer in and check that it is set to "Best Performance" instead of "Power Saver" Mode
- Clearing your cache & cookies will help with Chrome speed
- Clearing site data for www.bemerri.com will improve speed and performance as well (step-by-step instructions below)
Steps to clear site data for www.bemerri.com:
Make sure your browser is on your Events Dashboard before you click into this.
- Click on the 3 dots on the upper right corner of your Chrome window
- Hover over More Tools > click Developer tools
- Click Application > Click Storage
- Clear Site Data
Macbook Airs & Tablets:
- Unfortunately, MacBook Air Computers, iPads, and Tablets have very low computing power and the hardware does not render 3D efficiently. This can cause the 3D design portion of Merri to be slow or lag. We wish that this wasn't the case with these particular computers or tablets!
