How do I create template layouts to use over and over again?

Venue Partners can create templates to use in-house that make planning even faster.

Is it common for you to use floorplans in your space that you see over and over?  If so, we recommend creating some templates that you can easily load in to save yourself some time.

When you create an event, inside 2D, you can head over to the Version Drop Down & name the version anything you'd like. We highly recommend naming it EXACTLY what lives inside that floorplan so it's much easier to find later, i.e. "150 People- DJ, Rounds, Reception".

From here, you can click the star and voilà! That's it.  You have created and saved a template.

You can also click on + New Layout inside any event & load in a template in from there. The "Design Templates" modal will appear & allow you to select already templatized floorplans to use inside your event. Load up to 10 if needed.

 

Please keep in mind when loading in a template, it will pull spatially relevant items: tables, chairs, dancefloors, furniture but it will not load specific design elements (think pink napkins or specific centerpieces). 

This is because each Vision Board for each event might be different, therefore we leave out the design elements here.  If there are spatially relevant items in the template and we do want you to select the actual design, we will ask you to select the item itself from the catalog. 👍
