You can do both! Directly from the Templates modal is the easiest way to find what you need!

You can find the Templates Model inside the "Venue" page on the left hand side of any event.
- next, click Venue Templates (if you are the venue) or My Events (if you are a Merri planner) tab at top of the modal
- Search/ filter for the template you are looking for
- Click "Edit" & you will be taken to that event/template directly to edit
- You can also Star/Unstar your templates from this screen
If you just want to rename the template, hover your mouse next to the "name" and a little pencil icon will pop up. Click that and edit the name from that screen.
*Tip, if you need to see the layout a little larger to know what's inside in order to name it properly, you can click hover on the floorplan and a magnifying glass pops up on the bottom right corner. Click that and the image will be full screen.
You can now easily identify and access events that contain a layout that you previously saved as a template. The 'Star' icon on your Dashboard denotes which events include a Template.
