If you've tried to change the design of one or a few tables and they all change, this article is for you!
Why do all tables change when trying to change a table design?
- You can think of the tables in the Tables & Bars tab as templates, so when you make a change to the template, all tables on your floorplan added from that template will change.
- You will need to create a new table template in order to create different styles of tables in the same layout.
- To create a new template, you can duplicate a table, or add a new table.
How to duplicate a table
You will want to duplicate a table when you only want to change a few items on the table. For example, you may want to alternate linens or centerpieces, or anything else.
Or, you may want the entire table design to be the same but create a template that's a different size.
- Click the table you wish to duplicate
- Click Duplicate table
- A copy of the table you duplicated will move to the bottom of the tables list
- Once duplicated, click into the new table template to edit it any way you need
- Drag the new table into your floorplan to alternate tables in your layout
How to create a new table
If you wish to create an entirely new table to add to your floorplan you may want to use the "Add Table" button.
- Click Add Table at the top of the tables list > Select the type of table you're looking to add (Guest Table or otherwise) > Click Next
- Select the table you wish to add > Select the # of Guests, etc. > Next
- Design the new table
