You can combine multiple rectangle or square tables together with one table number and consecutive seat numbers!
If you are putting together several tables end to end, and want them to be shown as a single table in your layout, you can combine them. When two tables are combined, they function as one table within Merri.
This means:
- Seat numbers will be continuous
- The tables will have one table number, which will appear in Guest Management.
- The tables move as one when designing
- The tables appear as a single table in the PDF export.
You can combine square or rectangular guest tables of the same size, up to either 5 tables or 312” in total length. Depending on the total length of your table, you will now be able to seat up to 38 guests!
Some important things to note about combined tables:
- While the tables act as one when designing, they are counted individually in your shopping cart, so that you always know exactly how many tables actually need to be ordered.
- Only square or rectangular tables may be combined. Tables can only be combined with themselves; meaning a square can be combined with the same square table, but a square could not be combined with a rectangle.
